Dear Anthony and Sheila:
Congratulations to both of you and the other dedicated volunteers
who did so much behind the scenes for the 90th Anniversary
celebration of the establishment of Holy Trinity Catholic
School. I thank you for the many hours in front of computer
screens and arranging the Community Life Center for the celebrations.
The presence of so many Daughters of Charity and lay teachers
was an added treat.
On behalf of the members of Holy Trinity Parish, the staff,
students and parents of Holy Trinity Catholic School, and
the hundreds of alumni and alumnae who were present, I salute
you on a job well done. Countless visitors approached me to
thank me for all that took place. I quickly assured
them that the leadership team and core active members of the
Friends of Holy Trinity School were the folks to be thanked.

In the coming months I believe we can begin to build a more
permanent base for the organization and to develop an annual
calendar of events. Early planning will be important.
All of us are bombarded by appeals from our alma maters, our
favorite charities, and our own family members. All of these
projects are worthwhile. However, here in Dallas there are
hundreds of deserving young Catholic elementary school students
who are in our local public schools. These Catholic students
could gain much from a Catholic education now and in the future.
In order to attend Holy Trinity Catholic School there parents
can pay a portion of the actual cost of education.
The remaining expense will have to come in the form of scholarships
and tuition assistance. This is an area where the network
of Friends of Holy Trinity Catholic School can make a great
difference.
Feel free to call on me and the members of the parish and
school staff to be of assistance in the future. Be assured
of a place in my prayers and masses for our benefactors,
Sincerely Yours,

(Rev.) John P. Cawley, C.M. Pastor
